Dr. Sheldon M. Kop was born in Honolulu, Hawaii. Dr Kop came to Nevada and did his undergraduate studies at the University of Nevada, Reno. After completing Medical School at the University of Nevada, he returned to his birthplace to perform his internship at the University of Hawaii. Dr. Kop performed his residency in Radiology at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center, in Santa Clara California.

Dr. Kop joined Tahoe Carson Radiology in 1988 and is Board Certified by the American Board of Radiology. Dr. Sheldon Kop is a member of the American College of Radiology and the Radiological Society of North America, as well as the society of Radiologists in Ultrasound and American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine.

 Dr. Kop has advanced education and training in the field of Ultrasound and currently oversees all protocols and procedures in Ultrasound and all TCR affiliates organizations.

When Dr. Kop is not working, he enjoys playing golf and spending time with his wife and children.
