We have translated that understanding and expertise into The Women’s Center, a facility dedicated solely to a woman’s health. In fact GBI is one of only two facilities in Northern Nevada to have achieved the coveted “Breast Center of Excellence” status from the American College of Radiology.

The Women’s Center is housed in its own wing at Great Basin’s Carson City office. It is specially designed with privacy and comfort in mind and features a spacious spa-inspired setting, complete with its own private check-in area.

Within The Women’s Center, you’ll find the latest imaging technologies for mammography, breast MRI, ultrasound, stereotactic breast biopsy, bone density testing and varicose vein treatment.
